Your family can have the opportunity to meet Princeton University international graduate students and scholars through the Princeton Community Connect (PCC) program run by the Friends of the Davis International Center. This program provides the opportunity for volunteer hosts and University students and scholars to meet in relaxed, informal situations.
Volunteers (families or individuals) are paired with a visiting student or scholar. Students and scholars do not live with volunteers. Usually, volunteers invite their students/scholars to their homes for an occasional dinner, social gathering, holiday, or just go for a walk in a park. The program is an especially wonderful opportunity for children and empty-nesters.
The program runs during the University academic year.
All students and scholars will have been vaccinated. Because of Covid, this past year many volunteers limited their contacts to outdoor and digital activities. If the epidemic continues, this would be a model for the 2021-22 academic year.
We have volunteer openings for the upcoming academic year and would appreciate your sharing this opportunity with members of your congregation. If you have any questions or want further information, please contact [email protected].
