It is always good to say thanks and to live in gratitude:
To Mary Beth Wells: Thank you for your many years of faithful service to St. Paul Parish. It has been a pleasure to have you serve as our parish accountant these past sixteen years. I have always admired your responsibility and dedication to the job as well as your deep faith.
I am particularly grateful for your diligent service during the pandemic this year and as I transitioned to Pastor here at St. Paul. Through a very challenging time for us all, the community of St. Paul has been blessed by your presence, support, and discipline.
As is often the case in parish life, you have served both the Parish and the School in many other ways, above and beyond your job description. The foundation laid by your wisdom and experience will continue to guide us for years to come.
I am happy that you are poised to retire and move on to a new chapter of life. I pray each day that your joy will increase during this new season and that God’s blessings abound. I extend my prayerful best wishes that you may find peace and happiness in your retirement.
To Suzanne Eberhard: It has been a privilege to have you here at St. Paul Parish as Business Manager. I have truly benefited from your assistance in so many business matters. I could not have done the parish administration so well without your help and assistance. I pray that you have health and relaxation as you enjoy each day with your family.
To Maureen Sano: Finally, I extend deep gratitude to Maureen, who has been working as the Administrative Assistant in our Religious Education Department. Your example of service has been a source of inspiration for many! It is with sadness that I say farewell to you as our Religious Assistant as well.
On behalf of our St. Paul Parish family that I share the words of St. Paul the Apostle to the Philippians,:
I give thanks to my Lord at every remembrance of you, praying always for you, because of your partnership for the Gospel from the first day until now. I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. (Phil. 1:3-6)
Thanks to each of you for being apostles of Jesus and for doing such good work in the Lord’s vineyard for so many years.
In Christ through Mary,
Fr. Miguel Valle
